Lion was a good employer to work for. All his employees knew it and anyone on the outside would immediately proclaim how wonderful it would be to work in a place like this. Instead of a strict dress code he allowed customers to wear what they liked, within reason. He gave all his workers paid time off no matter what. And his business was closed on all holidays and during the weekends so his employees would be able to spend time with their families. Plus, the culture and environment of work was fun and relaxed. By doing this his employees actually worked harder because they were less stressed.
